| 内容 | 应对 Some people believe that nowadays students can learn more from the Internet than from their teachers. To what extent do you agree or disagree? 这个题目 学生在主体部分某段落写了如下一句话： Therefore, the Internet is no match for the teachers in providing things beyond knowledge. 我们来看教师修改后的句子，如下： Therefore, the Internet is hardly comparable with/to the teachers in providing what is beyond knowledge. * 修改后的句子与原句的区别不大，但是，措辞的质量区别不小、提升不少。 * comparable这个词的使用很重要。这个词的一个释义是“比得上的”。于是，hardly comparable替换原句中的no match，使得表达提升了许多。 * 原句中的things beyond knowledge 被改成 what is beyond knowledge。当我们是在不知道某些things是什么的时候，可以不用things而用what，比如：This is what I have. 或者 That is what I know. 我们很难描述具体是什么，但是又不用things，于是就用what引导的名词短语。 ★ 小总结 ★ * 当然是要背单词，积累词汇量。 * 一些看不起眼的语法，其实作用很大。 |
