The actual grades you require in particular subjects will vary according to the degree course you wish to study. This will allow you to discuss your research proposal, available supervision and the entry requirements of the research programme. Qualifications and experience – any academic and professional qualifications or industrial experience you may have are normally taken into account, and in some cases form an integral part of the entrance requirement Research programmes – entry to our research programmes usually requires a Honours degree with a first or 2.1 classification, or the equivalent if you have been educated outside the UK. For Management subject areas all candidates must provide a statement as to how the proposed research fits within the research interests of the staff at Keele. This must be provided before applications are considered. If you require a longer pre-sessional English course, Keele has a link with the following college: English in Chester. In order to obtain a Tier 4 Visa to study a Pre-Sessional English programme you must have a SELT (Secured English Language test) as defined by the UKVI (UK Home office). When selecting and booking an IELTS test you must ensure that you select an IELTS SELT, which are only offered at a limited number of test centres.
