加拿大阿尔伯塔大学的学术实力怎么样呢？跟着出国留学网来看看吧!欢迎阅读。 2017年加拿大阿尔伯塔大学学术实力解析 阿尔伯塔大学院校简介 阿尔伯塔大成立于1908年，阿尔伯塔大学是加拿大U15大学联盟的创始成员，多年来与多伦多大学、麦吉尔大学、英属哥伦比亚大学一起稳居加拿大研究型大学前五，世界排名前百。随着阿尔伯塔省经济的繁荣和教育投入的增加，校方的目标是在2020年成为跻身全世界最好的20所公立大学。 阿尔伯塔大学是全加拿大五所最大的以科研为主的综合性大学之一，其科研水平居加拿大大学队伍的前列。阿尔伯塔大学校园内的各种设施十分完备先进。主校园占地89公顷，还有5，000公顷校外科研用地，广阔的校区容纳了400个科研实验室，包括全加最有实力的激光实验室、最居前沿的扫描电子显微镜实验室，两套NMR设施和一些农业科研站点。大学图书馆是加拿大第二大科研图书馆，人均图书拥有量居全加第一。由于所在省份阿尔伯塔省是加拿大著名的石油产地，不但经济上较其他大学优越，相关科研及课程也位居加拿大前列，尤其以石油工程(petro engineering)最为出名。同时，其Timms艺术中心拥有国内最新最好的戏剧教学设施，体育娱乐中心兼有室外与室内的多种娱乐设施。阿尔伯塔大学的体育比较出名，尤其以排球队和冰球队较为优秀，经常可以拿到国家级的奖项。 阿尔伯塔大学地理概况 阿尔伯塔大学位于埃德蒙顿，是加拿大阿尔伯塔省省会，加拿大第五大城市。居该省中部，跨北萨斯喀彻温河两岸，距美加边界560公里，为通向北方的门户。根据加拿大统计局，埃德蒙顿市区人口877,926(2014年)都会区1,328,290(2014年)，是阿尔伯塔省人口第二多的城市(排在卡尔加里之后)，是加拿大第五大的城市。 埃德蒙顿是阿尔伯塔省的文化、政府和教育中心，城市拥有轻轨运输(LRT)，一年有许多节日，并有北美最大的室内购物中心——西埃德蒙顿购物中心(1981年至2004年间是世界最大的室内购物中心)和加拿大最大的历史公园——埃德蒙顿堡垒公园。德蒙顿是加拿大阳光最为充足的城市之一四季分明，是典型的北方大陆性气候，但是冬天要比其南部的温尼伯和里贾纳暖和些。一般温度为-10℃~20℃。最冷可达到-30~40℃。夏天温度也不低，紫外线强度大，7月8月一般温度可达到30℃。 阿尔伯塔大学学术实力 诺贝尔奖 1.Richard E.
