澳大利亚墨尔本大学(The University of Melbourne)是“澳洲八大名校”之一，成立于1853年的公立院校，位于澳大利亚维多利亚州的首府墨尔本市，是维多利亚时期最古老的大学，也是澳大利亚第二古老的大学。最开始时，只有4名教授和16名学生，发展到今天有19个院系，6500多名教职工，47000名学生，其中包括来自世界上120多个国家的 11800名国际学生。在《泰晤士报》全球高等教育前200名排行榜上名列澳大利亚首位，全球第37位。
