"Ma Xiaoxu was very active on the field and worked well with her partner Han Duan," said her coach Marika Domanski-Lyfors. But the young player doesn't like the way she played. "I don't think I should be Player of the Match. The whole team did a good job," she said. "I made a few mistakes in the match. I will change these things and do better." At the age of 19, Ma Xiaoxu is already famous in the women's game. Last year, she won the Golden Ball and Golden Shoe in the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. She played for a Swedish (瑞典的) football team for six months. The local paper said many good things about her. Ma is a bit of a tomboy (假小子). She wears her hair short and doesn't like skirts. She plays like a boy too, fast and strong. She is easy-going, but never afraid to say what she thinks. "I speak my mind. And I do what I think is right," she said.
