    1. neither...nor...表否定,意为“既不……也不……”。如:
    She likes neither butter nor cheese.
    He neither drinks nor smokes.
    2. either...or...表选择,意为“或者……或者……”。若要对either...or...句型进行否定时,只需把either...or...变为neither...nor...即可。如:
    Either you or she is good at drawing.
    变为否定句:
    Neither you nor she is good at drawing.
    3. not only...but also...意为“不但……而且……”。如:
    Not only the students but also the teacher likes football.
    I not only heard it , but also saw it.
    4. both...and...表肯定,意为“……和……两者都”,其否定结构为neither... nor...。如:
    Both New York and London have traffic problems.
    The secretary both speaks and writes in Spanish.

    neither...nor...,either...or...,not only...but also...,both...and...都可以连接名词、代词、形容词、动词或介词短语等。但both... and...连接名词或代词作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式;not only...but also...,either...or...以及 neither...nor...连接名词或代词作主语时,谓语动词的数一般遵循“就近原则”,即与靠近的那个名词或代词在人称和数上保持一致。如:
    Both she and I are going to do the cleaning.
    Either you or I am wrong.
    Neither I nor he is well-educated.
