腊梅的拉丁学名有着自己的来历： Chimonanthe précoce ou Chimonanthe odorant,（ Chimonanthus praecox, Chimonanthus fragrans ） Étymologie : Chimonanthus vient du grec cheimon, qui signifie "hiver", et anthos, "fleur", autrement dit "qui fleurit en hiver", et c'est bien le cas de cet arbuste.
