dunno: 不知道，I don't know的缩略形式
- Where are we exactly?
- Dunno.

turf: 扔掉，撵走(turf原指“草皮”)
We turfed him out of the house.
我们把他从屋里赶出去了。
Adam and Eve got turfed out of Eden.
亚当和夏娃被赶出伊甸园。
psyched: 兴奋的，喜不自胜的
I'm really psyched about my new job!
终于找到新工作了，我高兴得要飞起来了!
to knock something: 挑刺儿，批评
Don't knock the food; it's free.
别对这些吃的挑三拣四了，反正也是免费的。
wheels: 多指汽车，有时也可指自行车等
I've got to get some wheels - this public transport system's a joke!
我得买辆车了——这公交系统真是糟糕!
a tad: 一点，有点，just a little/slightly的替换表达
The fish was OK, but the chips were a tad greasy.
鱼不错，薯条有点油腻。
nippy: 天气严寒的
It's a bit nippy today - you might need a coat.
今天有点冷——你可能得加件外套。
