It’s quite beyond me why such things have been allowed to happen. 4.表除去，“除……之外”，不用于肯定句中。如： They have nothing in common beyond their hobbies of collecting stamps. 【考例1】-------Can he take charge of the computer company? --------I’m afraid it’s _______ his ability.
